Introduction
Kids Quad Bike Dubai is the first children's-only ATV experience we've built at Al Badayer, created specifically because parents kept asking for a way to let their kids ride something real without joining the adult dune buggy convoy. This isn't a scaled-down version of our Quad Bike Dubai tour — it's a completely separate program, run on its own fenced beginner track, with its own fleet of small automatic ATVs sized and speed-limited for children.
The idea came directly from families who visited for a Sunrise Dune Buggy Dubai tour with young children who could only watch from the sidelines. Now those same kids have their own thing to do — a real quad bike, their own helmet, and thirty minutes of independence on a track built just for them.
Why this tour exists
Most desert adventure activities in the UAE are built for adults and simply let children tag along as buggy passengers. Kids Quad Bike Dubai flips that — your child is the rider, not a passenger, on a machine scaled to their size and reflexes. It fills a genuine gap for families who want every member of the trip, not just the grown-ups, to come home with their own "I drove it myself" story.
The experience
Sessions run in small groups so every child gets full instructor attention. After arrival, children are matched to an appropriately sized quad bike and fitted with helmet, goggles and protective gear. A short, simple briefing — throttle, brake, staying in line — is pitched for a 6–12-year-old's attention span, using plain language and a practice lap before the timer starts. Parents watch from a dedicated viewing area right beside the track, close enough to wave, film, and cheer.

Safety information
This is a controlled riding area, not open desert riding — a deliberate distinction from our adult tours. Children ride within a fenced beginner track under constant, direct supervision from a trained instructor positioned on the track itself, not just observing from a distance. Quad bikes are automatic, with speed electronically capped well below any adult ATV, and every child is checked for correctly fitted helmet and gear before the session timer starts. Parents remain within sight the entire time from an adjacent viewing area.
Age & requirements
Children must be between 6 and 12 years old. Riders are grouped by age and size where possible so a 6-year-old isn't riding the same-sized machine as a 12-year-old. A parent or guardian must remain on-site for the full session — this is not a drop-off activity. Closed-toe shoes are required for every child rider, the same rule that applies across all our desert activities.
Cancellation policy
